Tadasana or Mountain Pose
Stand with your heels apart, arms by your sides and take a deep breath. Now lift your arms above your head and open up your chest. When you exhale just bring your arms and feet slowly down. The sweeping, lifting and dropping motion must be repeated several times.
Marjaryasana or Cat Pose
Kneel up on all fours like a cat. Now exhale while arching your spine upwards and pulling your abdominal muscles in. Next move your head downwards and inhale, keeping your hips in the same position and drop your weight creating an inverted curve in your spine. With face forward, slowly lift your chest and head. Repeat this act several times in a long, flowing motion.
Bhujangasana or Cobra Pose
Lie flat on your stomach. Bring your hands to the sides of your shoulders, rest your chin on the floor and keep your face forward. Now breathe out while lifting your chest from the floor, straightening your arms, stretching and creating a curve in your spine. Hold this position for some time. Next inhale slowly and then, return your body to the relaxed position.
Vriksasana or Tree Pose
Stand in Tadasana pose and feel your body weight equally on all four corners of your feet. Now, slowly shift your weight over to the right foot, lifting the left foot from the floor. Bend the left knee, bringing the sole of the left foot onto the inner right thigh. Try to keep both the hips squared towards the front. Repeat the same move while shifting weight over the left foot.
